Day 1:Arrive in Kathmandu Nepal.
You will arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, where you will meet with our team members and drive. They will escort you to the hotel and brief you about the day program. Later, in the evening, you will stroll on the bustling streets of Thamel, and end your day with delicious welcome dinner organized by the company.

Day 2:Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,460m); 7/8 hrs.
You head north from Kathmandu towards Syabrubesi driving through the scenic landscape. You will soon be driving with the Trishuli river at your side. On a good day, the view of Mount Ganesh Himal will grace you on your journey.

Day 3:Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,340m); 5/6 hrs.
The trek begins today as you head towards Lama Hotel. You cross the Bhote Koshi river and follow the Langtang Khola. The trail gradually ascends by Ramche (2,400m), and further, descend through the forested hills of Bamboo at (1,906m). If you are lucky you might spot a few langur monkeys, bears, and even Red Pandas.

Day 4:Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3,330m); 5/6 hrs.
After breakfast, you continue your trek towards Langtang valley. While ascending, you will witness the beautiful views of the mountains and waterfalls. As you approach the valley, the white peaks of the Langtang range come closer in your sight. You pass through several temporary settlements and monasteries before reaching the village. You will have your meals at a tea house in the village and stay overnight here.

Day 5:Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3,740m); 5/6 hrs.
Today, you will be heading towards KyanjinGompa, a famous monastery in the Langtang region. En route, you pass by trails decorated by prayer wheels, chortens, sacred carved rocks, and functional water mills. You will also be passing by one of the largest mani walls in Nepal. This wall is made from stone and has prayers written all over it. Upon reaching Kyanjin, you will explore the Gompa along with the Buddhist shrines and enjoy the amazing views of the mountains present all around.

Day 6:Rest day in Kyanjin Gompa (3,740m).
You will spend this day to acclimatize and also explore Kyanjin. You can visit the nearby monastery and the cheese factory operating since 1955 to try out the Yak cheese. Additionally, you may also hike up to the Tserko Ri (5,050m) from where you can get a spectacular panoramic view of the Langtang peak.

Day 7:Kyanjin to Lama Hotel (2,340m); 7/8 hrs.
Today, you will retrace the trails you ascended and return to Lama hotel. As the route is downhill. You can view the mountain sights you may have missed on your way up. After reaching Lama hotel, you will spend the rest of the day there and stay overnight.

Day 8:Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,210m); 6/7 hrs.
You will resume your trek after breakfast from Lama hotel and head towards Thulo Syabru. The trail begins with a descent to a river, which then ascends again up to Thulo Syabru. You will be passing through pine and juniper forests. En-route you will see fascinating views of Langtang and neighboring peaks.

Day 9:Thulo Syabru to Lauri Binayak (3,584m); 6/7 hrs.
You will be ascending broad trails climbing up to Lauri Binayak. The path runs through beautiful forests of rhododendron, hemlock, and oak trees. You will also witness a fantastic view of the Lantang mountains and the Langtang valley on the way.

Day 10:Lauri Binayak to Gosainkunda (4,165m); 5/6 hrs.
Finally, today you will be reaching the sacred destination of this region. The day begins with a steep ascent which goes all the way to Gosaikunda. The rugged trail gifts you with the breath-taking views of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges along with the further away Tibetan peaks while Langtang Lirung towers close by on the horizons. Upon crossing a small ridge, Gosaikunda will now come in sight. Gosaikunda houses a dozen lakes, out of which the main three are Saraswati Kunda, Bhairab Kunda, and Gosaikunda.

Day 11:Rest day at Gosainkunda (4,165m).
You will spend this day at Gosaikunda exploring the lakes and clicking pictures of the tranquil lake. If you arrive during the time of Janai Purnima, you will get to witness pilgrims who make the arduous journey to achieve inner peace and absolution. This lake holds a deep significance in the Hindu religion.

Day 12:Gosainkunda to Chandanbari (3,330m); 5/6 hrs.
Today, you will be heading down to Chandanbari. You can find another cheese factory here at Chandanbari, where once again you get to taste authentic Yak cheese.

Day 13:Chandanbari to Dhunche (1,960m); 2/3 hrs and drive to Kathmandu; 5/6 hrs.
This is the last day of your trek. You will be descending towards Dhunche. You might feel like your legs are very sore. Make sure to take it easy on the knees while walking downhill. Upon reaching Dhunche, you will drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 14:Leisure day at Kathmandu.
Today is your free day in the capital city, where you relax and reminisce about the trip. You can also go exploring around the city and shop for souvenirs. If you had any special places in your bucket list to visit in the capital but missed out before the trek, today is a good day to complete that list. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner with the team members.

After breakfast, you prepare to check-out of the hotel. One of our team members will escort you to the Airport and wishes you a safe journey.

Best time to go on Gosaikunda Lake Trek
The best seasons to go on this trek is during spring(March-May) and autumn (October -November). The weather during these seasons is clear and dry with moderate temperatures. You will have minimum chances of rain and disturbance in your views. Trekking is also conveniently easier as the trails aren't slippery.
Gosaikunda Lake Trek difficulty
Gosaikunda Lake Trek is a little difficult journey in the Langtang region that also involves walking on glaciers and snowy paths. During this trek, most of the trail passes through forested areas and picturesque villages. There are a few steep and rocky sections as well. You have to walk 5 to 7 hours a day along with making sure that you did not get altitude sickness. Previous trekking experience is not needed to go on Gosaikunda Lake Trek still you have to be in good health and shape.

Food & Accommodation during Gosaikunda Lake Trek
You will stay overnight in the guesthouse during Gosaikunda Trek. The guesthouse is nothing fancy and offers basic facilities. You will get a small room with two beds and a few other pieces of furniture along with a common washroom. A nice sleeping bag is recommended as it can get very cold during the night. The dining area is the warmest place you can find in the guesthouse. It is also a common area so you can spend some time here.
Meals will be served as per the menu of the guesthouse. The guesthouse is run by the locals, therefore they are the one cooks the dishes as well. You will find a nice variety of food to choose from. We advise you to go for dal bhat with veggies or curries, as it is the most affordable and filling meal. Likewise, boiled water is also available everywhere. For more safety, you can carry water purification tablets.
